Morning Fun

We awoke to a fine dusting of snow this morning. Both kids were quite excited and enjoyed watching the falling flakes out the window while I got breakfast ready. I wasn't terribly enthused about the idea of bundling the kids up and taking them out all by myself, so Kevin offered to take them out when he got back from an errand to Seattle. But soon after he left I could tell that this little bit of snow was not going to be sticking around very long, so we headed outdoors anyway.

It was fun to see the difference in Ben compared to the last time it snowed. This time he was not afraid to walk around in it by himself and, of course, he knew right what to do when I got the sled out!

Ben signing and saying, "more," for another ride!

Pulling both kids was a lot of work for pregnant mommy, so Abby decided to try to help out and pull Benny all by herself. It was sweet!

Abby and I built a snowman and I was glad that she is old enough now to do some of the rolling all by herself.

Here Abby is "holding hands" with our dinky little snowman that has already fallen down just a couple hours later!

Daddy is still not home yet and the snow is almost completely gone, so I'm glad I took the extra effort to take the kids out this morning - you never know which snow might be the "last one" of the season! :)
