Christmas Catch-Up

Gardner Christmas - Part 1

At some point while we were opening presents, Ben went and got a kleenex and then kept wiping his nose every couple seconds - and he didn't have a cold! It was so cute. :)

The next morning Ben helped Stephen put together the mini Foosball table we got. Ben is WAY into tools and fixing things - definitely his Daddy's boy. :)

Gardner Christmas - Part 2 (A week later)
We just finally had the rest of the family over a couple nights ago, since my dad and brother had been out of town (my dad was actually working on a container ship that was near Hawaii on Christmas Day!).

Although Ben didn't have many presents to open this time around since he'd opened most of his already, he was kept entertained by cousin Katelyn and the snowman containers (full of cotton candy) that my mom gave all the grandkids.

And then, of course, there were the cookies that followed presents. Boy does Benny love his cookies!

(I didn't realize until now that I'd put the same shirt on Ben at both Gardner Christmases!)

Villwock Christmas
Last week, we headed down to Oregon for the annual Christmastime get together with all my relatives on my mom's side of the family. It was the first time we went down and back in one day with the kiddos and also the first time we made it one way without stopping (I figured they could make it after all the car riding they did on our trip to California in November!). We had a wonderful time as always, although it is always a bummer to have to drive six hours total for only a 3-4 hour get together. I wish it would last longer like the old days when I was a kid (usually lunchtime until late night), but it's different now that the family is so big and we have to meet at my uncle's church.

The original cousins (minus both my sisters and my cousin Juli)

The next generation of cousins (minus four)

I took 14 pictures and this is the best I got - Remi is crying and trying to exit and Emma is concerned about him, Jacob and Mandy have their hands in their mouths, Abby is preoccupied with her shoe that came off, and Jamin and Ben are intrigued with something going on to the side. Yep, you try getting 15 little kids to smile at 4 different cameras flashing. :o)

Have you tried the new Windows 7 "cloud" replace feature? I had to do this for the group picture of my family! And they were all adults!
