Thanksgiving

We enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving with Kevin's family out in Grayland. The kids were perfect on the ride there and back - the best trip yet since Abby was born! Before the festivities began, we drove down on the beach and looked at the ocean since we had promised Abby she would get to see the ocean-beach. It was my first time driving down on the beach (all the sand was wet and hard-packed) and I think Abby thought it was pretty cool to be so close to the waves from the comfort of the car.

Then we spent the day with family - visiting, playing, and eating until we could eat no more. Abby couldn't wait until the meal was served and got to start eating a bit before everyone else. And the slow eater that she is, she was the last one to leave the table as well. She gives another meaning to "the first shall be last." =)
