Abby has definitely taken after me in her love for books. She will sit for hours at a time if someone (er...Grandma or Aunt Becky) will take the time to read to her that long. She has literally gone through every single children's book in our house in one sitting and will still not be bored of it (and we have a TON of kid's books!)! She will also sit and "read" through the books herself for long periods of time. One of her favorite spots to do this is in the couple feet of space between the couch and coffee table where her books are stored. But just the other day, I walked into the living room to see this:
One at a time, she'd grab a book and carefully climb up on her horsey where she'd read it for awhile. Then she'd dump it in the pile in front of the horse and go get another book and climb back up. What a silly but fun way to read! She may have gotten her love for books from me, but she got her creativity from her daddy. =)

And no I didn't start a new blog.. I just haven't had much great to say about my second placement. Haha. However the post that was intended to be on my student teaching blog accidentally ended up on the old one.
