What else is Ben up to? His first tooth broke through Sunday evening. Thankfully, teething doesn't seem to be as much as an issue for him as for Abby. He was running a fever yesterday and was more fussy than normal, but still slept okay at night (Abby, on the other hand, has been teething her molars off and on lately and has an awful time sleeping and is very fussy.). He's just about able to sit-up on his own and can do it for a few seconds at a time. His unofficial weight is 18 pounds. He's slowly getting a bit more hair. Ben also moved into Abby's room several nights ago. For awhile, he'd been sleeping in the study/office, but it was annoying for Kevin not to have access to his computer and paperwork once Ben went down for the night. So far, the transition for Abby and Ben has been easier than I expected with minimal extra wakings due to noise/crying from each other. Other than that, Ben is just as cute as a button, smiling all the time and growing bigger every day!
*If you have a little one and don't make your own baby food, I highly recommend it for multiple reasons: it's cheaper, healthier and tastier. I made all kinds of yummy baby foods for Abby that I often found myself wanting to eat too! And although I can't prove it, I'd like to think that having homemade baby food attributed to Abby's good eating habits now. Although she eats as slow as molasses, she enjoys a very wide variety of foods for a toddler and is a far, far healthier eater than either of her parents. =) The best recipe book I've found for my needs and preferences is Blender Baby Food.
