First Cereal

In an effort to help get Benjamin to sleep through the night, we started giving him some rice cereal before bed this week (over a month earlier than his sister began eating rice cereal). These pictures are from the first night. After we got his high chair set up and put him in it, Ben had to wait until I got some breastmilk thawed to mix with the cereal. It was too long of a wait (he never lasts anywhere for more than five minutes =) and he started crying and crying. I didn't know whether to give up or just shove some spoonfuls in. I decided on the latter, and surprisingly within a few swallows he calmed right down and enjoyed his first cereal meal.

So far there's been no improvement at night, but he's really not getting a whole lot in him yet as he learns to eat the cereal. Hopefully, we'll see some changes very soon!
