So what things have changed with Ben since his 3-month post? Well, other than growing like a weed and working his way further and further into our hearts, Ben has finally outgrown his hatred for the car seat...for the most part. He's getting quite good at short rides (which is good since his mama makes several couponing trips a week!), but sometimes the longer rides still do him in and he can cry at the top of his lungs for an amazing amount of time. He also is much better about spending time on the floor on his back or tummy. And his favorite place to be (other than someone's arms) is the exersaucer. His hair is filling in quite a bit now, and I find myself actually missing the soft barely-there fuzz from before. He really likes to suck on his fingers. He also likes to grab and suck on my hair. He is less gassy now and no longer toots like crazy every time I pick him up. He loves to play with his feet. And he likes to scratch his nails on various surfaces much to my chagrin (almost like fingernails on a chalkboard type of thing sometimes!).
I can't get over how cute he looks in a baseball cap!
It's hard to believe that only 5 months ago Benjamin was born. In some ways, it seems like he's growing so quickly, but in other ways it seems like he's been with us forever. We love him so much and have already been so blessed having him in our family. Happy 5-month Birthday, Ben!

Ah-h-h...Such a cutie! He looks so old with the baseball cap. Is this a glimpse of the future? His eyes are so-o blue and his smile so-o sweet. (Can you tell, I'm glad to be Ben's Grandma?!!) And I love to hear his little laugh.

Babies are so fun at this age as you can really start to see personalities. Ben is super cute. I love the hat too.
yay!!! congrats on 5 months with Ben here =) can't believe he is still eating so much at night- stinker!! maybe its cause he's so big =).
He's really a handsome little man. I can't wait to meet him! And yes, I will come by around Christmas, but don't know when exactly or for how long. Let's just hope it doesn't snow like crazy and block off all the streets again this year. :)
