Little Helper

Abby loves to help. Most of the time we can't find many ways to have her help us, but occasionally we find things that she can do at her skill level. For instance, she often helps me fold laundry by handing me each piece of clothing out of the basket. Today, she got to help Daddy pack up a tuna order for our online canned tuna business.

She was so serious about her job and so proud of herself for getting to help Daddy stack the cans of tuna into the box. We were thankful that tuna cans are pretty sturdy since her stacking sometimes got a bit out of control as you can see in this action shot below:

Kevin and I have talked about the online canned tuna business possibly being a good job for our kids to handle someday so it was really neat for us to see Abby already starting to help out at only 13 1/2 months old! =)

It's a blessing...encourage it! I have pictures of Coleson helping before he was a year old and he still loves to help.

Oh, how cute that she looks so very serious about her duties. :o) Lukas likes to "help" me with the laundry, too, but he thinks his job is to help UN-fold the laundry and redistribute his little socks to various areas of the house.
