Blog Templates
So, those of you with the cool blog templates, can you let me know where you find them? Blogger doesn't offer very many choices and I'm getting pretty tired of the three I've tried out so far. Now, I'm not talented enough to make my own template, like I'm assuming my cousin-in-law Alysun does, I just want to find some good web sites that offer free templates that work well. Please share!

She does really cool designs for blog templates and they are free. The only problem with them is that you will lose all your sidebar stuff; You can add them on again after the new template is installed.
Another option where you don't lose all your "gagets" is www.cutestblogontheblock.com where you just add a short html code in the gaget section of your layout and you get a great background. There are some really cute ones. If you want to see some in action, look at Lindsay, Andrea, Cathy, and Tawny's blogs on the links in my sidebar. They use cutest blog backgrounds. I can't use them for some reason from my mac.
I create a header in Photoshop and then, this most recent design features one of blogger's templates with a few color and font changes. Pretty easy.

I have only used one blogger template, but when I googled "free blog templates" a bunch of sites popped up. I also have friends who have PAID for templates they really like, but I would tend to go the free route, myself. Hope you find something you like!
