My nephews were also up this weekend, giving Abby lots of excitement and fun, watching and playing with them. She loves it when they are here and seems to be significantly less fussy with them around (we can't wait until baby boy arrives and grows a bit older so she has a playmate all the time!).
On Saturday, we also enjoyed a visit from my Aunt Doris (my dad's sister). Sometime after Christmas every year for as long as I can remember (this year it came quite a bit after!), my Aunt Doris drives down from Seattle to take us all out for dinner. We also spent some time at my parents' house playing games and visiting. It's always a fun and interesting time, but not quite the same anymore without my Uncle Joe who died two years ago.
Abby with her Great-Aunt Doris
Abby was as good as gold the whole time at the restaurant and sat nicely in her highchair for the entire hour and half that we were there!
Of course, I'm sure it didn't hurt any that Daddy let her play with his cell phone throughout the evening! =)And although it is fun to have everyone around, I am enjoying this first moment of quiet and solitude in the last couple days now that the boys have headed back to Oregon and Abby and Kevin are taking naps. I think I will go do the same. Sunday afternoons just seem perfect for naps. =)

Abby's hair is so cute. I think it every time I see a picture of her.
Man are you ever busy!
It will be nice when she has a playmate! Rachel and Paul love playing together! They are also pretty good at fighting together... =) Abby is growing fast!
Mom's are the best! So glad you are near your mom in this phase of life. Just one reason I love having a girl- she will hopefully be near when she's older!!
Abby looks like such a stylish girl talking on her mobile phone there!
