Let's be honest, ladies. For those of you who read Pioneer Woman's blog, did you get just the slightest feeling of jealousy when you read Friday's post? I did. Just a bit. I mean, I love my husband dearly and think he is a pretty wonderful husband and father...but the romance of being married to a cowboy (I love that last picture in her post - somehow my fisherman in his bright orange rain gear with fish scales and guts on him just doesn't have the same effect =) and the fact that he's able to take the kids with him to "work" all the time so his wife can have time to herself to get stuff done? You have to admit, that would be pretty cool. Someday I may be able to send one kid with Kevin (as a deckhand), but there's no way he'd be able to take a whole passel of kids to work...not that I plan on having a "whole passel of kids," but maybe I will. You never know.
Anyway, for those of you who haven't checked out PW's site, you should. It's awesome. She's awesome. Be prepared to feel inferior and inadequate in comparison though. ;o) And by the way, did you notice how many comments she got on that post? 567!!! Yes, you read that right: five-hundred sixty-seven!! Wow, I'm happy when I get one comment, excited when I get two, and ecstatic when I get three or more.

I love PW. She really does keep it real. I am also in awe of her commenters. I comment sometimes on her blog because I think maybe she will jump over to my blog and comment. Wouldn't that be the day!!
Oh, gee... thanks a lot... I'd never even heard of that blog until now, and was up until 4 AM (yes, 4 in the morning) reading and reading and reading...
Well, she's got Marlboro Man, so we'll just have to come up with who our husbands "are". The Gordon's Fisherman seems like a warm and approachable sort of chap. ;o) I, on the other hand, have the "Nick Burns, Company Computer Guy" from Saturday Night Live. Ha, ha!
my mom loves her blog and i have read it off and on...i will have to go check it out again! Abby is getting so big- this is when it gets really fun (to me, at least =)
