Baby Sign Language
Abby did her first sign today! Unfortunately, I did not get to see it =( but Kevin saw her make the sign for milk and then she leaned toward me! So exciting! So far we've been doing the signs "milk" for nursing, and "eat," "more," and "all done" for meal times. It's so exciting to see her finally picking up on it. I'm anxious to teach her more signs as the weeks progress. (Thanks for the baby sign language book, Leah!)

Baby sign is great! It will make a less frusterated Abby (and you!), for sure! How fun to be able to communicate with more than cries! Daniel hasn't signed yet, but we are working on it! We go for "more", "all done", and "please" first. Hurray Abby!

i love the baby sign language too. we only did the ones michelle mentioned above- but it was beyond helpful. way to go abby!!
yay!! it's so great to see their progress,isnt it. We have done a few with Coleson (all done, eat, more, sorry-after he is disciplined he is to sign this to us.) It's fun that he is talking so much but he will still do these when he asks/needs to say any one of these things. anyway...I share your joy!!! :)
How could I forget, we have thankyou too. :) mostly though we are moving towards just saying the words, I havent taught a new one in awhile, "sorry" was the last one. anyway... dont want to ramble-just been thinking all night that I forgot thankyou! oops! :)
