Candace is the wife of my former youth pastor (they now live in Arizona). Candace's blog is the first blog I began regularly following and mostly due to her encouragement I started blogging myself, so it seems fitting that she won. :o) The last time I saw Candace was during a trip to Oregon in 2010 (she was visiting family there too) and this picture appeared in my blog post about it:
