Walking!

Jake took his first steps five days ago. Each step he took, he squealed with glee and clapped his hands. He was so proud of himself and soooo excited about it! It was seriously one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Each day since he has worked on his new-found skill a bit more. The most steps he's taken at one time was 17...but he only went about two feet total since he was mostly just waddling back and forth like a penguin! :o)

We went outside a few days ago when we had a bit of sunshine. Jake didn't want to attempt walking on the uneven ground but I was able to get a picture of him standing, which he also loves to do now.

 

I know I say this all the time, but I can't believe how big he is getting! Aaaah! Slow down, time, slow down! :o)
