Morning Magic

A couple of mornings ago, I walked into the living room and the sun was shining brightly through the window. Abby and Ben were wearing their somewhat-matching monkey pajamas and happily playing in the sun's warmth. Ben was making his cars say, "Hi, hi, hi," to each other and Abby was simply lying on the carpet, kicking her legs up and down. I quickly grabbed my camera, wanting to capture the moment forever.

It was so simple. So ordinary and common. But the brightly shining morning sun almost made it seem magical (well, maybe that's going a bit overboard :). But it was incredibly special and sweet, and it made me want time to stand still so I could enjoy my precious little ones like this forever. These ordinary, simple moments are some of the best ever!
