Benjamin is fascinated with the dishwasher and will come running (er, crawling at high speeds) into the kitchen whenever he hears the dishes being put into or out of the dishwasher.
"Helping" Daddy with the dishes after dinner.
At first Ben just liked to play with the soap door like the pictures above show, but now he also tries to grab the silverware and pull the rack in and out. So, it's made doing the dishes an interesting experience as I try to get in as many dishes as I can before he arrives, close the door as he wails in displeasure, and then do a few more dishes when he leaves the room again. =)

Same at our house!! I forgot about the "hurry before baby comes" phase! :) Coleson is my helper in putting silverware/mixing bowls/pots and pans away and I think it's confusing to Tate ;) hehe
Now that the boys are older, they can help load the dishwasher and unload the silverware or tupperware. :) but yeah, I remember all the "keep the door closed" and "don't touch--it's dirty still"--wait that still happens all the time. :)
love, Jayne
Yep. That sounds familiar. :)
My kids love the soap dispenser, too! And turning the spinning sprayer, too!
