Ben @ 11 Months

Happy 11-months-old (7 days ago :) to Ben! I seriously can't believe he'll be ONE next month!! Wow, the second half of the first year always goes so much quicker than the first half. :) Here's what's happening in his life right now:

• Taking steps every day, but usually only with Daddy or Mommy's encouragement (his first step took place on Easter weekend).
• Regularly standing on his own:

• Climbing on anything he is able to.
• Loves to play with his Mama's hair.
  
• Opens every cabinet door and drawer in the house whenever he can get away with it (i.e. when Mommy's not looking)...consequently, the cabinet door locks we bought when Abby was younger, but never installed, are now on the cabinet doors beneath the kitchen and bathroom sinks.
  
• Likes to scoot things across the kitchen floor:

• Still can't handle chunks of food and is still only eating purees.... :(
  
• Has 6 teeth now, and seems to be teething more days than not.
• Loves to make "raspberry" noises:

• His favorite sound right now is "Bbbb."
• He has pretty much stopped saying, "Mmmama," and "Daaa!" much to our disappointment, but it's obvious he understands a lot more now.
• Doesn't mind others holding him, as long as Mama is still in sight.
• Loves to wave.
