Look what I can reach now, Mommy! Hm, time to baby-proof again.
He also loves to wave, especially whenever he sees himself in the mirror. He started waving three weeks ago when my mom taught him to when she baby-sat on volleyball night (Kevin and I are playing on our church volleyball team again this year). I held off blogging about it because I wanted a picture but still haven't remember to take one yet! And speaking of volleyball night, last night when we arrived back at my parents from our volleyball game, Ben held out his arms to me and smothered me in big, slobbery kisses. It made me want to leave again just to get a welcome like that again! =)
Yesterday, I noticed that the two upper teeth he's been teething off and on the last couple months finally broke through. My first hint was him grinding his teeth (ick!), so I knew there must be some on the top! Sure enough, the two front ones are barely visible, but razor sharp.
Abby and Ben continue to enjoy being together, playing together, screeching together (did I ever tell you that my son screeches like a girl thanks to copying his big sister?), and laughing together. They often reach out toward each other during meal times. A couple mornings ago, I put their high chairs closer for a few minutes and they had a great time holding hands. While it is cute, I don't let them stay that way for long or forks/spoons/food are passed back and forth or are grabbed off trays. =)

Crabbing is already slowing up some. While this is not the best for us financially, Abby and Ben enjoy Daddy being home every few days for at least a half-day at a time.
I decided to include the picture below not because Ben's nose looks exceptionally yellow, or because a large blob of slobber was so clearly captured dripping off his chin, or because if you look closely you can see a bit of green bean puree still on his chin from lunch, but because the background light shows how much his hair is finally starting to fill in.

That is so cute! Maria will go after Luke if he's anywhere near her, but he doesn't always acknowledge her. (She's been mobile for at least a week now, too, but I still having blogged it!! I gotta get crackin'!)
Cuuuuuuuuuuuuute. Ben's eyes are so strikingly blue.
The holding hands at the table thing is adorable. I hope they stay such good friends as they grow. :)
