Is it spring yet?

These last several days of warmer weather (around 50 degrees) and rarely any rain have been wonderful! Even when the kids have colds (thankfully, almost gone now), we cannot pass up this great and unusual January weather. We've taken several walks, went to the March for Life at the capitol yesterday, and even made it to the park after our walk today. Abby had a blast getting to play at the park after taking a couple months off because of the cold and wet weather. And, of course, I had to bring my camera to get some outdoor pictures (when was the last time we did that?=) and kept bugging Abby to smile in the midst of her play time. The sky had darkened considerably by the time we got to the park, but I still captured a few good pictures.

And not to be forgotten, Ben enjoyed watching Abby run around the playground, sliding, teetering and climbing. He also loved checking out the big, tall evergreen trees. This boy loves looking at trees.

With a 50% or more chance of rain for the next 9 out of 10 days, we savored our afternoon excursion even though it meant getting down late for naps. Although Abby loves her snowmen and still talks about making another sometime when it snows again, I know that she is going to be one happy little girl when spring arrives in full force.
