Ben slobbers a lot. I'm talking tons of slobber, all the time, all over. I'm not exaggerating. Whoever holds Ben will have a nice slobbery spot on their shoulder within a few minutes. Or even seconds. And being that we are all right-handers around here, there tends to constantly be a nice, wet, slobbery spot on our left shoulders from holding Ben on that side.
Abby has noticed this for quite some time and enjoys pointing out the wet spots out: "Ben's slobber, Ben's slobber!" she says. Over the last few days, she's decided that when we hold her, she does not want to get a face full of Ben's slobber and will not put her head down on our left shoulder. And she has dubbed our left shoulders, "Ben's side," and our right shoulders, "Abby's side." Sometimes she forgets and as she naturally goes to the left side, she quickly switches sides, points to the left side and says, "Ben's slobber, Ben's side." Occasionally, she's even tried to request that her Daddy get a "new, clean shirt." =)
While none of really enjoys Ben's slobber, it's been fun to watch Abby's reaction to it and the cute things she says.

It will be fun to remind him of this when he's a teenager.
