Yesterday, Benjamin had his first full bath. Four weeks old may seem like a long time until a first bath, but we had to wait for his umbilical cord stub to fall off and then the next day he was circumcised and the doctor told us to wait at least a week after that. So, yesterday was the big day and he did great! He seemed to really enjoy it and didn't cry hardly at all. What a big boy!

AW, fun! This was Coleson's favorite thing, still is in the top few! I hope Tate enjoys it just as much. .... (when he was circ'd we were told to bathe like normal...odd! So, he got his at 2 weeks when his cord fell off....ahwell, Ben is clean now! ;) hehe)
I've never heard of not bathing after a circ. I haven't that area submerged under the water though come to think of it. Hopefully your doc gave you the long term instructions of caring for such things. I've seen way too many mom's claim they were never told and then they get to deal with the not fun concequiences! E-mail me if you don't know what I'm talking about... I'm no expert but I do have growing experience.
Haha; he sure looks angry. They always seem to stop smiling (looking cheerful) when the camera comes out!
