Ben @ 9 Months

• Attempts to "hum" while I sing Jesus Loves Me to him before bedtime and has starting trying to "sing" during singing time at church.
• Takes two 1-2 hour naps a day and sleeps about 11 hours at night.
• Still wakes up an average of two times a night (I've gotten only one uninterrupted night of sleep since Ben was born)=
• Is a good eater, preferring vegetables to fruit, but still not eating any finger foods and can tolerate only the smallest of chunks in his pureed baby food.
• Drinks well from a cup and loves water.
  
• Has mastered crawling and has found a new way to play with the exersaucer - climbing under and out, of course. =)

It's so much fun!

• And after crawling for only a couple weeks, he quickly moved on to pulling himself up to a standing position and started the beginnings of cruising! Several times he's even stood on his own for a few seconds and several times he's cruised from the couch to the coffee table on his own.

• Is a great little shopper and likes to sit in the cart holding mommy's coupon folder.
• Definitely knows how to throw a good temper tantrum (I forgot how young it starts!) and is showing a stubborn streak.
  
• Reaches out his arms to be picked up or to get a hug.
• Adores his sister and will happily play with her/next to her in the living room, crying almost immediately if she leaves the room.
