Here's a few pictures from our trip to the zoo last Friday. We gave it another go (thankfully, this time it was open!) since my mom's zoo membership expired at the end of July. The weather was beautiful, Abby had a fabulous time, we found out the carousel was free and couldn't believe we'd passed by all the other times thinking it would cost too much, and almost every animal we looked at was visible and close and many were active. Yes, it was a good trip...except that Ben cried ALL the way home, for an hour and half (minus a 20 minute stop) - have I mentioned how much he hates riding in the car and being in his car seat? ;o)
