Last week my nephews were here all week for their spring break; this week my niece Hannah is here for her spring break. Having Hannah around is an extra special treat since we don't get to see her as often (she lives in Eastern Washington) and it is an extra special treat for Hannah since Abby is her only girl cousin. The last time we saw Hannah was way back at
Thanksgiving, and the first day she was here this week she couldn't stop talking about how big Abby was, how well she could talk and walk, etc. She loves that they can actually play together now, albeit in a semi-limited way still. And although she is staying at my parents house for the week, we have been sure to get the girls together at least once a day.
Abby has been loving it! Boys cousins are fun too, but it's been so interesting to watch Abby and Hannah interact as only girls do. In the picture below, Abby had climbed into the doll cradle and Hannah had fun pretending Abby was the doll by putting blankets around her and tucking her in. Abby enjoyed all the attention. =)
Hannah playing "this little piggy" with Abby's toes at lunchtime.

Grandma with her granddaughters.
Unfortunately the weather has been yucky so far this week and we haven't been able to do anything extra fun, but with a forecast of partly sunny tomorrow we are heading to the zoo! I'm sure both girls are going to have a wonderful time!

Even at this young age, girls are still drawn to other girls. It is fun that they get to interact. I often long for a baby sitter Hannah's age to entertain my girls while I get work done. Glad you get to spend time together!
What great girl cousin time!
Have fun at the zoo!
I also noticed for the first time in these pictures how long Abby's hair has grown. What a girly girl. :)
I love the last picture there of grandma with her granddaughters.
I didn't get to answer your poll... don't know how
i missed it. I would vote -- easier than I expected. But then again, I had an almost 3 year old, not a 1 year old. You are a tough woman. You can do it with bells on!
