The kids I went around the neighborhood on a walk this afternoon. What a gorgeous day for January! If we skip snow altogether and move right into spring, I am totally fine with that! :) It was Lizzy's first time in the double stroller with Jake. He loved riding next to her. She was pretty blah about it all, but would start fussing when we stopped to look at things (or take pictures!). All in all, it was a great walk and went much more quickly than our walk last week when Jake rode his scooter (and I had to carry it half the way home with Lizzy in my arms!). ;) Today, an older gentleman with his dog passed us and said, "I've got to step aside for the parade!" We laughed because just a few minutes earlier the kids had pretended we were in a parade. :)
(I still plan on catching up from being behind, but I think I'm going to start today posting more regularly - sorry if it gets confusing going back and forth for awhile!)
