20 Weeks

This past Sunday I hit the half-way mark for the pregnancy. In some ways, I feel like I should be a lot further along. Not quite sure why that is, but I think it's going to make the second half seem extra looooong! :oP I'm still having queasiness fairly regularly, but overall I've had vast improvements in feeling better over the last several weeks. I am thankful for that and am trying to get some projects done like gardening and spring cleaning. Perhaps this is my little "break" before the swelling, back aches, acid reflux, carpel tunnel and all that good stuff shows up at the latter end of the pregnancy. ;o) I've only felt a tiny bit of baby movement over the past week and thought that was a bit odd, but baby was very active during the ultrasound and the reason for me not feeling the movement is because the placenta is located toward the front this time.

We have decided to have this baby be a surprise (Abby's gender was a surprise, but the boys were not). Everyone in the family is hoping for a girl, but we are all prepared to be thankful for whichever gender God chooses to give to us. :)
