Sand in the City

We're still here if you were wondering about us! Life has been busy and difficult lately, so I've not had much chance or felt like blogging. I had originally planned on making this a "catch-up" blog (and I still might do one!), but I thought I'd better get something up quick or else I might lose all my blog readers! :)

After church on Sunday, we headed down to the Olympia waterfront for the Hand's On Children's Museum's annual Sand in the City event. If you live in the area and haven't attended this fun, family event, you need to! Here's a few pictures of our sweating-hot, but lots of fun afternoon:

Checking out the neat sand sculptures.\Making their own sand sculptures in the Giant Sandbox.

Jake did well and enjoyed all the activity.

Abby and Ben had a blast at the bubble station.

Abby's favorite part: crafts galore! / Abby showing off all the crafts she and Ben made.

That looks like a lot of fun! Love that picture of Jake, great light in his eyes.

This isn't really applicable to this particular blog, but I didn't know where else to post it. Cute new family picture in the top corner! I like it.
