Pool Time

Summer has finally arrived in the NW! With the beautiful warm day today and hot days in the immediate forecast (95 on Thursday!!), we got the pool out this afternoon, cleaned it up and filled it so that it would be warm for the kids to go "swimming" in this evening. It was Ben's first time in a pool and, true to his character, he hopped right in and started splashing away. Abby also had fun playing and splashing (another year older and having an adventurous little brother is changing her :). Unfortunately, pool time was a short-lived experience: Ben swallowed some water, gagged and threw up all over the pool. So out went all the water and off to the bathtub went the kids. But we look forward to doing it again over soon (minus the vomit, of course).
