Computer Update
Well, my computer is still not working properly. Kevin has worked on it for several hours, but it seems to have a very nasty virus. As a result, I'm pretty much taking a break from the blogging world, because what's blogging without pictures to go along with it? But this is probably a good thing because I'm pretty busy right now. I just started a summer quarter class (Western Civilization III) and it looks like it's going to be pretty tough. Summer classes are a bit harder since they're more compact (the class is eight weeks long) which means more reading than normal, plus this class has a paper due every week - I'd much rather take a test than write a paper! Also, I'm hurriedly trying to get the mailing list updated for the charter boat Kevin runs with the previous two year's sign-in sheets so that Kevin can get a mailing sent out. We didn't do one last year and so we're pretty far behind. I have to input about 1500 names and addresses into the database...which is no quick thing, since I have to cross-check each person to see if they are already in there and it's often very hard to read people's writing. Additionally, I also have the typical duties to keep me busy: answering the phone for Salmon Charters and booking reservations, running errands for myself and for Kevin's businesses, various business paperwork, cross-stitching a block for a baby blanket for a friend at church, helping with my nephews who will be here every other two weeks throughout the summer, making baby food (which I've just started doing and is actually quite fun), cooking and cleaning, and, finally, taking care of Abby which is by itself enough to keep one busy 24/7! Not to mention that I just volunteered to help organize and setup our church library and my friend Leah will be in town all next week! So, until Kevin is able to restore my computer and I can get caught up with things around here, I'm going to take a short leave of absence from my blog. It will be hard(blogging is pretty addictive), but it's for the best.
