Since Jake's birthday cake had gotten so delayed (see previous post), I decided I had better get Ben's done on his actual birthday even though it was actual a fairly busy day for us with a Mother/Daughter Banquet that afternoon/evening. Ben requested a submarine cake this time. :) Cousins Solomon and Hannah came over to celebrate a simple party for Ben.
My mom joined Abby and me for our church's annual banquet later that day. It was lovely and scrumptuous as always! The guys at our church go all out to serve and honor us ladies. It is very special. For the second year, the banquet was held at the Lacey Community Center and for the first time they had a free photo booth too.
