My nephew Stephen stayed with us during his Spring Break. Since his bed was on the couch, the kids hit him up often for reading stories or, in Abby's case, help with her schoolwork. :) Kevin and Stephen also put in several days of work on the shed (still not done!), and the kids begged at every opportunity to go help them. :)

(If you notice, Jake is doing his signature "triangle" with his fingers that I mentioned in the previous post even as Stephen reads him a story!)

 

On Stephen's last day here, in a whirlwind of activity, we gave him our car (the Mitsubishi Galant we'd bought from my sister - well, she practically gave it to us as it was not running at the time) and we bought my brother's minivan for a great deal. The Galant was a good car and we miss it, but we are glad to give Stephen a reliable car and we are really enjoying the extra space the minivan gives us. Ben especially is proud of his new minivan and loves to show it off to people. :)

But I do have to say that I miss having the kids all within reach right behind me and I will fondly remember all the times Abby held her brothers' hands in order to calm them.

And lastly, for March catch up, was our Easter celebration here at our house. As you can see, our family pic did not turn out and we gave up trying. :oP

Aunt Doris, I included for you the picture of the bunny deviled eggs you liked so much that Abby and I made. :)
