A 95th birthday party was held for Kevin's great-aunt Beth at the Westport Maritime Museum last weekend. Kevin's second-cousin Shawn (picture below with him) put the whole thing together. It was fun for me to meet relatives of Kevin's and to introduce our children to everyone. They were the only very young children there and so were quite to entertainment for everyone. Since it was held in the museum meeting hall, we also were given complimentary tickets to tour the museum and its famous lighthouse lens house. We semi-enjoy that (Kevin and I could have spent a lot more time in there, but we had to go quickly and said a million times, "DON'T TOUCH!" to the kids :). Kevin especially enjoyed getting to catch up with Shawn and, since Kevin needed to check on his boat nearby, Shawn came along for a tour. Jake headed right for the fish hatch and was quite disappointed that there were not any tuna in the hold this time. :)
