Three Kids in a Tub

Several weeks ago, it occurred to me that I could put Jake in the bathtub rather than haul out his baby tub to the kitchen sink since he had mastered sitting up and was plenty old enough (similar to the Sunday when I was juggling all three kids in church and it occurred to me that Jake was long past the newborn stage and was plenty old enough to be in the nursery....I just get too busy and forget to move him onto to the next stage! I tell ya, these "third children".... :). Anyway, Jake had no fear of the bathtub and started splashing away in glee - this boy LOVES bathtime! Especially with older brother and sister!

If you haven't noticed by now, Jake's skin tone/coloring is very different from the first two - it looks like he'll be tan like his Daddy whereas the other two take after my fair skin. And, no, his nose isn't really that orange, but it sure shows up that way in the pictures - just like Ben's always did at this age (must be my camera??)! There's definitely a tinge (lots of carrot puree, I guess! :), but I think it looks a lot darker in the pictures than in real life...and I'm not going to take the time to photoshop it! ;)
