Thanksgiving Weekend

On Thanksgiving, we headed out to Grayland to spend the day with Kevin's family. It was fun to drive out there with snow all along the highway. I don't remember having a snowy Thanksgiving before! We all had a great time and the kids especially enjoyed playing and cuddling with their "ocean-beach" Grandpa and Grandma.

After a fun (but early!) morning shopping on Black Friday, I hosted my family over for a second Thanksgiving dinner on Saturday. There were 17 of us altogether! It was extra special to have my aunt Doris (my dad's sister) and her son Paul there, as well as my nephew Stephen and his girlfriend Patti.

In addition to visiting and stuffing ourselves with lots of yummy food, we also had a blast playing games into the late night. I haven't had the chance to do that in awhile (late night game-playing has been a very rare occurrence since the kiddos have been born :)! I wish I had gotten a picture of us playing the game Hilarium. If you haven't played that one before, you need to because it's, well, hilarious! :) Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving too!
