Morning Sickness with a 2-year-old

I had just finished pouring Abby a bowl of cereal, when I immediately had to vomit so I leaned over the kitchen sink and began.

Abby: "Mommy, are you throwing up?"
Me: I manage to whisper between barfs, "Yes!" *blech*
Abby: "Oh...Do you sometimes make burping sounds when you throw up?"
Me: *blech* "Yes." *blech*
Abby: "Well, don't throw up in this bowl, okay?" She points to her cereal bowl on the counter. "That's good that you are throwing up in the sink."
Ben is whining in his high chair.
Abby: "I think Benny wants a banana. Can you get him a banana when you are done throwing up? He wants a banana."
Me: *blech* "Okay." *blech*

Having a talkative 2-year-old around adds a whole new dimension to the morning sickness routine. :)

Hard to endure, but I much preferred the chatter. It was distracting to say the least. Hope you feel better really, really soon.
