Brother-Sister Love

Although Abby and Ben don't always get along, the moments that they do make their mama's heart melt. It is precious beyond words to watch one's children happily play together, work together and love on each other. I've been saving up a group of pictures from the past several months that shows Abby and Ben doing just that. Most of the shots are nothing special from a photography perspective, but together they capture the fun and sweet times that these little siblings have shared.

Abby helping Ben jump on the trampoline

At the park

Entertaining little brother

Goofing around together on Daddy's truck (strapped to the bait tank he was transporting! :)

Working together to help Daddy clean up

Sharing Mr. Potato Head

Running in Uncle Paul's hay field together

Having fun together in Abby's bed before bedtime

Making trouble together with the garbage and recycling bins!

Eating ice cream together at Baskin Robbin's 31-cent night

Playing "train" together

Holding hands on our walk

Hugs!

One thing I pray for my children and work to cultivate in them is a love for one another that I hope will grow into lifelong friendships. Yes, there are fights and antagonizing here and there (okay, sometimes A LOT of that), but overall Abby and Ben care for each other a lot and I hope these types of moments will multiply over and over again into adulthood.

Psalm 133:1 - "How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers (and sisters) live together in harmony!"

Some relationships, because of personalities, require a lot more encouragement. It's so beautiful to see your pictures and the bond you are nurturing.
